Benign tumor and the reflexology for the pituitary glands

{ Posted on May 31 2007 by hans }

An imbalance of pituitary gland secretions, often caused by a benign tumor, can lead to acromegaly (excessive growth of skeletal and soft tissue). Gigantism can result if it occurs during adolescence. There may also be consequent deficiencies in adrenal, gonad and thyroid activity. The brain and endocirne reflexes should be worked in order, supplemented by those for the circulations, liver and digestion. In addition to reflex points on the hands and feet, there is also one on the forehead. If any of these reflex areas is found to be tender, it should be massaged often to maintain the balance necessary for healthy growth.
